INTRODUCTION TO GIS
This unit is designed to introduce learners to concepts and principles in GIS. At the end of the unit learners should be able to demonstrate good understanding of GIS concepts and principles such as spatial data formats and input techniques, spatial data manipulation and analysis techniques, spatial data storage and management techniques, map design techniques and web mapping techniques.
